The Concept
I have to work at weekends and in the evenings. A diary is essential to an efficient working routine, but I had difficulty finding a pre-printed diary that suited my needs, so I set about producing my own.
The result is a customisable A4 diary that can be printed from your web browser. This diary allows you to:
- choose your own start and end times,
- change the interval between hours (e.g. 1/2 hour 1/4 hour)
- include ToDo at the start of each day
- include bank holidays (only English at the moment)
- add custom events like holidays or birthdays
So much more customisation could be added but at the moment it does what I want. If you would like to change or add something let me know using the contact form and I will try my best to accommodate your needs.
Viewing and printing your diary
Your diary will be produced in PDF format. You can choose to view and print it from your web browser or save the file to disk and view it in a PDF viewer prior to printing from the same program. To view the file you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, click here to download it free.
The Essentials
Having printed your diary you will need to find some way of keeping it tidy. By far the best method is to use a four ring binder of the Filofax type. It will retain a professional look and remain neat and tidy during use. You will also need a hole punch; a four hole punch works best. You can look for alternatives and maybe use a cheap clip folder. Check out some of the items available from Amazon in the left and right hand bars.
Consider a Donation
Having put a lot of work into this project I decided to make it available to anyone who would find it useful.
At the moment the diary is free to use, but I am sure that you will appreciate that a lot of effort has gone into the production of this diary, so if you find it useful please tell your friends and colleagues about it and consider making a small contribution using the PayPal button below.
If you have any problems or need help please email me using the contact form .
